About Irving Park

New Irving Park is a large and beautiful neighborhood established in the mid 60’s and some homes are still being built today in the section called The Noles.  The neighborhood is approximately 1.65 square miles and 1,600 homes with the following border streets: Cone Blvd to the south, N Elm St on east, Pisgah Church Rd to the north and almost to Lawndale to the west.  There are 3 neighborhoods that are considered “lock and leave”- Lands End, Ascot Point, and Barrington Place.  There are 2 private neighborhoods on the other side of Elm Street called Provincetown and 2600 Elm Ridge Lane that were developed in the late 90’s to early 2000’s and many of the homes are lakefront on Buffalo Lake.  Ascot Point and Lands End have a handful of lakefront properties on Buffalo lake as well.  The Noles was developed in the early to mid 2000’s on the large Tannenbaum parcel of undeveloped land.  New Irving Park Proper is divided into 4 quadrants and is divided in half by Willoughby Blvd.  One of the sections which is the 2nd most recently developed section has many large homes that are lakefront.  You can find tons of mature trees and half acre lots in this neighborhood.
